Kanvaslight revolutionizes lighting by using optical fibers in a way that has never been seen before. By weaving optical fibers into fabric and using a light injector, Kanvaslight is able to light your textile structures. As a fiber optic fabric, Kanvaslight is the perfect LED replacement light. With this light up fabric, you can easily add light in places you could not before. In your tent, part of a cushion, boat top or anywhere there is fabric, Kanvaslight can turn any textile structure into a lighting piece.
Kanvaslight uses the concept of light transportation to bring you a beautiful lighting piece to any textile structure. The light injector handles all the electricity, and the fiber optic fabric never receives a flow of electricity. Plugged into a power source, the light injector shines a powerful light into the optical fibers weaved into the fabric, creating the lighting effect. The optical fibers transport the light through the fabric to create the light up fabric that you see. By using a fiber optic fabric and light transportation, Kanvaslight is the perfect LED replacement light as the optimal fabric light.

I am always thinking of new innovations and new ways of doing things. I anticipate the needs of tomorrow and create the solutions for them. Giving up is very hard to do when you are interested in so many things and you have a passion for making solutions.
It is said that behind every great man is a great woman. I market and sell the inventions that my husband Thierry designs because they’re always ingenious and innovative. Nothing on the market resembles his inventions and I am always so motivated by seeing his inventions solve people’s problems.
I’m an outdoor person. You can find me gliding or hiking anytime I am not working. As chief engineer, I develop new idea and new concepts with Kanvaslight, bringing my passion and my work together. With my technical background, I respond to high level demands in short lead times.
I have been a seamstress at Guardtex for 11 years. I spend about 4 months a year on my boat traveling the world. In November of 2021, I left Canaries to go to Antilles. I plan on finishing going around the world in 8 years! The team here at Guardtex are waiting for my arrival into New York and hope I’ll one day make it all the way to the Polynesian Islands!
